My name is Darren Freeman. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Information Security. This degree program is unique because not only does it cover traditional Computer Science. also encompasses many principles of cyber security as well. I have exposure in the world of DevOps for about 3 years. I have been attending AWS seminars hosted by Amazon Web Services while learning various aspects of cloud automation architecture, such as monitoring, scripting, continuous integration, and continuous delivery.
I worked professionally with Kura Labs utilizing AWS infrastructure. I’ve done everything from deploying EC2 servers to setting up development environment using infrastructure and code tools such as Terraform and Ansible. I also have experience deploying a fully functional web application utilizing a fully fleshed-out CI/CD pipeline.
I am passionate about DevOps and reliability, and I hope there is a possibility that I can bring my skills to your company and help to contribute to its continued reliability and availability to its customers. Thank you for taking the time to read this letter.
